In the heart of Mátra, one of the highest settlements of the Mátra Mountains, in the heart of Mátraszentimre, the guest house is a great starting point for hikers in summer and skiing lovers in winter. With a unique interior and a cosy fireplace, we welcome those who wish to relax.
Vaskúti Chalet
The Vaskúti Chalet is recommended for families of 4-6 persons, small group of friends, who wish to have a separate house, a quiet garden and private wellness.
Rooms
There are two bedrooms in the attic. One double bedroom and one twin bedroom. The living room has a pull-out sofa, dining table and a cosy fireplace. The fully equipped open kitchen is accesibble from here. The spacious terrace is sunny in the morning and has a dining table for 6 persons. Large trees in the garden allow you to enjoy a variety of birds and squirrels.
Wellness
On the ground floor there is a 6-person sauna with a plunge tub and loungers. Separate toilet and shower in the wellness area. We offer unique sauna salt and essential oil for our guests.
About 800 m2 of wooded, private, fenced garden with picnic tables, garden loungers, swinging bed, firepit and barbecue. Guests with children can use the garden playhouse, swinging peg, darts, nesting swing, badminton. At the end of the garden there is a pleasant mountain stream
For our guests who like skiing, there is an enclosed ski and bike storage area
Parking
Parking is possible in front of the house.
Sauna
Our sauna works with tokens. For every guest night you receive 1 chip. 1 token gives you 180 minutes of sauna time. It is possible to buy additional tokens at a price of 6.000 Ft/ token.
Plunge tub
Each guest is responsible for filling his/her own tub. This ensures hygienic use. After use, do not lower the tub.
Baby-friendly
Travel cots, baby baths and high chairs are available free of charge. Baby toys and board games are available in the house.
Pets
Pets are welcome for an extra fee. 10.000 Ft / booking

Arrival/Departure
24. You can check in after 16:00 on the day of arrival. On the day of departure the accommodation must be vacated by 10 a.m. If you would prefer a different time, please let us know and we will try to arrange it. However, we do not always have the possibility to deviate from 10 am. Thank you for your understanding!

Everything was perfect, cosy and we forgot about the troubles of the world for 3 days. We had firewood for the fireplace, we easily lit it :) Everything was very comfortable and spacious, well equipped, modern. Thanks to the key safe, we didn't have to worry about how to get there in traffic. Very good hiking trails and restaurants nearby, but you have to go to the grocery store in the next village :) We had a great time, we can only recommend it.
